Trainee Management Accountant

The Business

We are partnering with a fast growing business recruiting a recent or upcoming graduate to join the finance team in Trainee Management Accountant role.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career in finance, with full support to study towards the CIMA qualification.
 

The Role

Reporting into the CFO and Financial Controller, duties include:
 

• Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Learn and apply double-entry bookkeeping principles
• Work with internal stakeholders across the business
• Contribute to month-end processes and reconciliations
• Develop knowledge of accounting standards, requirements, and policies

Person

Education

• A 2:1 or above in Accounting & Finance (or a related degree)
• Strong technical understanding of accounting principles from your degree

• A Levels: Minimum AAB
• GCSEs: At least 8 grades 6–9, including Grade 7+ in Maths and English

• Some prior experience within a finance function (e.g. placement year, internship) is desirable

• Ambitious and motivated to build a career in finance
• Committed to studying towards the CIMA qualification
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and a proactive mindset
