The Voluntary Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms

Nigel Wright Group is becoming a signatory to the Code of Conduct for Executive Search Firms. The code’s purpose is to help and support businesses to implement their gender and ethnic diversity objectives on boards and senior management roles.

We will therefore advise boards and make recommendations regarding our search process that will help enhance diversity and align with best practices and regulatory expectations. Our approach will be led by your priorities regarding strengthening the shortlist of candidates for interview.

We outline details about the code below which we are adopting for all executive searches in the UK.

We have set ourselves the following targets:

  1. When clients have gender diversity objectives, we will aim to include 40% of female candidates in all executive Longlists/Shortlists.
  2. Our ethnic diversity target is to discuss and agree the ethnic mix of candidates in longlists/shortlists on 100% of executive assignments and to deliver against any agreed objective.
