Graduates & Students
We’re growing – and we need great people to help us on our journey
The UK recruitment industry is currently worth over £141 billion and employs over 200,000 Consultants. So, what better career path could you choose?
We are looking for students and graduates, who want to start their career with us.
Sales experience within industry or at other recruitment firms isn’t required, but it will help if you have some work experience, even part-time. Knowledge of the recruitment industry is less important to us than a great attitude to succeed.
Market-leading support including extensive training, personal development, and mentoring for all staff is provided from the very beginning. This gives each person every opportunity to achieve their potential. It is every Manager’s priority to help their staff be the best they can be – including helping Consultants earn plenty of uncapped bonus. Your progression is down to your capabilities and potential, with the help of our ongoing training.
Graduates
From day one you will join a specific team and work towards becoming an expert in a particular discipline and sector. Your first three months are split between workshop based training and on the job learning. We believe the best way to become a successful Recruitment Consultant is by doing the job and immersing yourself in your market.
The job involves calling and talking (not texting) to a lot of people. Conversations create market knowledge, identify opportunities and build relationships in ways that emailing and texting can’t. You’ll be meeting clients and candidates within your first weeks. We need graduates to immerse themselves in all aspects of the role, so we don’t hide you away from the market.
You’ll start gaining broad experience and attend some of the many events we organise.
You will be surrounded by like-minded individuals, all driven by wanting to be the best in the industry. Your Manager will provide support and continual mentoring and you will be given responsibility for live assignments to work on straight away. We need you to have a willingness to learn and an attitude to succeed.
If you are ready to carve your career path within a leading global organisation, please send your CV to our Internal Talent Partner, Jane Burrage, via jane.burrage@nigelwright.com
