Nigel Wright is delighted to be partnering with an instantly recognisable service business based in Merseyside in their search for a PMO CoOrdinator. The 12 month role is a newly created position that fits into a recently established function designed to serve all project areas of the organisation. Great benefits and a hybrid working operating model exists with this role.
 

About the Role

Specific responsibilities include:
 

  • Support the smooth operation of portfolio and project governance frameworks, ensuring key controls and processes are adhered to.
  • Facilitate project review forums, preparing agendas, capturing outcomes, and monitoring follow-up actions.
  • Monitor project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of progress.
  • Administer and maintain programme documentation, reporting tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Deliver smaller project initiatives from initiation through to completion, ensuring objectives are achieved on time.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project management processes, introducing efficiencies and best practice ways of working.
  • Produce insightful management information and reporting packs, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas requiring attention.
  • Collaborate with senior project and business leaders to ensure priorities remain aligned with strategic objectives.

About the Candidate

Candidates wishing to apply for the role will have;

  • Previous experience working within a PMO, Project Office, Programme Office, or project coordination environment.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning, coordination, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and providing meaningful insights.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong systems skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools.
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, structured change or transformation environment.
  • Located in the North West and available to travel to Merseyside 3 days per week.
