The Opportunity

As Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the delivery of complex, fast-paced engineering projects, acting as a key leader across project teams. The work may span architectural solutions, structural steelwork and bespoke machinery, requiring you to coordinate multidisciplinary input from concept through manufacture and delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget, whilst maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Applying a practical understanding of manufacturing processes, you will identify opportunities to streamline activities, run workstreams in parallel and improve overall project delivery performance.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects in low-volume, high-value environments. Experience may have been gained within engineering, manufacturing, capital equipment, structural steelwork, architectural solutions or bespoke machinery projects.  You will also understand how to manufacture efficiently to deliver in tight time frames.  

Key attributes include:

• Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects involving multiple stakeholders and demanding timescales.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to optimise project delivery through efficient planning and execution.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing disciplines.
• Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, risk management and project costing.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused approach with the agility to adapt to changing customer requirements and project priorities.
