The Opportunity

Seeking an exceptional Finance Director to join the Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, governance and sustainable growth across this organisation. Reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer, this is a rare opportunity to combine strategic leadership with genuine social purpose within a growing, mission-led organisation. 

 

About the role

This is a broad and influential executive position responsible for leading all aspects of finance across the UK business. You will provide strategic financial leadership, strengthen commercial performance, safeguard cash and risk management, oversee governance and compliance, and support growth through new business opportunities, acquisitions and integration programmes. 

Working closely with the Group CFO, President and executive leadership team, you will:

  • Shape and deliver the UK finance strategy.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance function.
  • Drive financial planning, forecasting and performance improvement.
  • Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance.
  • Support business development, pricing and commercial decision-making.
  • Lead financial due diligence and integration activity for acquisitions.
  • Champion finance transformation, systems improvement and automation.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a proven track record of success in a senior finance leadership role. You will bring strong technical expertise alongside commercial acumen and the ability to influence at executive and board level.

You will likely offer:

  • Significant experience leading finance within a complex, multi-entity environment.
  • Expertise in financial planning, audit, controls, treasury, risk and compliance.
  • Strong commercial finance capability including pricing, financial modelling and investment appraisal.
  • Experience of organisational growth, transformation, systems improvement and change.
  • Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for social impact and purpose-driven organisations
