Regional Sales Manager Bayern, AUT (w/m/d)
Role Purpose
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial growth, expanding market presence, and building long‑term customer partnerships across Bavaria and Upper Austria. This role combines revenue and margin responsibility, proactive market development, and the establishment of TKD solutions in forward‑looking technology sectors.
As a key member of the sales organisation, the Regional Sales Manager strengthens TKD’s position in the cable and connectivity market by acquiring new customers, deepening relationships with existing accounts, and identifying new business opportunities. The role plays a critical part in securing sustainable growth and ensuring TKD’s competitiveness in dynamic industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Execution & Customer Development
- Acquire new customers in the assigned region and build long‑term, trust‑based partnerships.
- Manage and develop existing accounts through comprehensive technical and commercial support.
- Deliver tailored, customer‑specific solutions across cables, wires, and related connectivity products.
- Conduct structured customer visits, digital meetings, and regular follow‑ups to maintain strong engagement.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new market and growth opportunities within mechanical engineering, plant engineering, automation, process technology, and adjacent sectors.
- Position TKD solutions in emerging and future‑oriented technology markets.
- Monitor market, competitor, and technology trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Analyse customer requirements and apply technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of customer‑specific solutions.
- Provide accurate product recommendations and support customers in selecting the right cable and connectivity solutions.
- Lead the full sales process from needs assessment and pricing through to contract negotiation and closure.
- Conduct technical and commercial negotiations confidently and with a strong results orientation.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility, and forecasting discipline.
- Represent TKD professionally during on‑site visits, digital meetings, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Strengthen TKD’s reputation for quality, reliability, and technical expertise in the region.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Professional Experience
- Completed commercial and technical training.
- Several years of experience in field sales or selling technically demanding industrial electrotechnical products or solutions.
- Strong network within OEMs in mechanical and plant engineering, automation, process technology, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage complex customer relationships.
- Strong technical affinity and genuine interest in electrotechnical products and solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Structured, self‑driven, and comfortable working independently from a home office.
- Confident use of CRM systems and MS Office.
- Ability to identify opportunities, prioritise effectively, and deliver results.
