Group FP&A Manager

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Group FP&A Manager to join ZyroFisher in Darlington. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving performance insight and supporting decision-making across a growing, private equity-backed international business. With ambitious growth plans, transformation projects and board-level exposure, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional looking to make a genuine impact.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Group budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting for senior leadership and board stakeholders.
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide meaningful financial insight and challenge.
  • Deliver commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
  • Support board reporting, investor requirements and wider value creation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and business performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems and reporting.
  • Support the implementation of Sage X3 and wider finance transformation initiatives.
  • Manage and develop the Group FP&A Analyst.

You Will Be/Have:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong FP&A, budgeting and forecasting experience within a commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience producing management, board or investor reporting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within a private equity-backed, multi-site, international, distribution, retail or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to ERP implementation, business transformation or systems improvement projects would be beneficial.
