Warehouse Goods-In Manager

The Company:

This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing business that operates within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. The organisation has built a reputation for operational excellence, quality and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on ensuring materials, inventory and production processes are managed efficiently and accurately. 

As part of its ongoing commitment to operational performance, the business is seeking an experienced Goods-In Manager to lead a critical function responsible for inbound materials, inventory integrity and the effective supply of materials to production operations.

The Role:

Reporting to a senior supply chain leader, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of Goods In operations, ensuring materials are received, controlled and supplied efficiently to support business requirements. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the Goods In and warehouse teams. 
  • Managing inbound inventory, stock accuracy and material availability. 
  • Monitoring KPIs and driving operational improvements. 
  • Working closely with Procurement, Planning and Finance teams.
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance. 
  • Supporting continuous improvement across warehouse processes

The Person:

You will have experience leading warehouse or logistics teams within a fast-paced operational environment and be comfortable managing inventory, performance and process improvement initiatives.

You will bring:

  • Previous warehouse management experience. 
  • Strong leadership and people management skills. 
  • Experience of inventory control and stock management. 
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving. 
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems and operational KPIs. 
  • A strong commitment to health and safety best practice
