The Role

Working closely with senior management, the Head of Finance and external accountants, you'll take ownership of key financial processes while helping the Club evolve from reactive reporting to insightful, forward-looking financial analysis.
What you'll be doing
•   Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
•   Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning
•   Producing KPI reporting and analysis to support decision making
•   Performing reconciliations, journal postings and ledger maintenance
•   Managing invoicing, credit control and VAT returns
•   Supporting payroll processes and external audit requirements
•   Identifying opportunities to improve systems, controls and reporting
•   Partnering with colleagues across the Club to better understand operations and performance drivers

What we're looking for

•   AAT qualified, with further study towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA welcomed
•   Experience producing management accounts and financial analysis
•   Strong reconciliation, reporting and VAT knowledge
•   Previous experience working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
•   Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to build relationships across the business
•   Sage 50 and strong Excel skills
