Shift Manager

Our Client:

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing FMCG manufacturing business in the Newcastle area that is investing heavily in its operation and expanding production capacity. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Production Shift Manager to join their leadership team and play a key role in driving performance, safety and team engagement.

The Role:

Reporting into the Production Manager, you'll lead a large production team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for day-to-day operational performance, people management, training, workforce planning and continuous improvement, while helping to support the site's ongoing growth plans.

About You:

• Experienced leader from a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Comfortable managing KPIs, staffing, training and operational performance.
• Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but candidates from other fast-paced manufacturing sectors will also be considered.
• Positive, hands-on approach with the ability to bring structure, fresh ideas and continuous improvement expertise.
