Supply Chain Manager

The Opportunity

As Senior Production Planner, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and effective flow of goods through the factory. You’ll be responsible for developing weekly production plans across multiple lines, converting sales and marketing forecasts into actionable schedules, and ensuring manufacturing capacity is aligned with customer demand. 

You will work closely with Sales, Production, Supply Chain, and Material Scheduling teams to ensure raw materials, packaging, and operational resources are in place to support efficient production. This role carries significant influence in maintaining product availability, supporting successful NPD launches, and contributing to wider supply chain improvement initiatives. 

Key activities include:

  • Creating adaptable weekly production plans across multiple FMCG production lines.
  • Reviewing customer orders and forecasts to ensure accurate demand planning.
  • Partnering with Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate MRP inputs.
  • Ensuring materials and packaging availability in line with production schedules.
  • Supporting NPD launch readiness and aligning production plans with key deadlines.
  • Collaborating with operations to manage capacity constraints and operational changes.
  • Working closely with Warehouse and Inventory functions to maintain balanced stock levels.

About You

You will be an organised, analytical, and proactive individual with a strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes. Attention to detail, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to adapt quickly within a fast‑paced environment are essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, demand management, and stock replenishment.
  • Confident numerical skills, excellent accuracy, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • High levels of organisation with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility and resilience when handling changing business demands.
  • Proficiency in planning systems (Sage experience advantageous) and comfort working with data
