Senior Procurement Lead

The Role

As the Senior Procurement Lead, you will take ownership of a portfolio of spend categories, managing end-to-end procurement activity and supporting the delivery of group wide procurement objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing sourcing activities, supplier selection and contract negotiations across allocated categories.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Leading supplier performance reviews and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Delivering cost savings, commercial improvements and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Supporting supplier governance activities including compliance, ESG and supplier risk management.
  • Working collaboratively with operational teams to ensure supply continuity and service excellence.
  • Identifying opportunities to consolidate spend and improve procurement processes across the wider business.
  • Escalating strategic negotiations and key commercial decisions where appropriate.

About You

The successful Senior Procurement lead will be/have:

  • Significant procurement experience within a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing procurement projects from sourcing through to contract award and supplier management.
  • The ability to build credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, hands on approach and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience within facilities management, business services or other service led sectors would be advantageous.
  • Candidates from wider commercial, industrial, manufacturing or public-sector procurement backgrounds will also be considered.
