  • Help establish best practice around data governance, architecture and engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior team members and support the ongoing development of internal capability.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to deliver business-critical projects.

Key requirements:

  • Strong experience within Data Engineering or a similar data-focused role.
  • Proven expertise in AWS-based environments.
  • Advanced SQL and data manipulation skills.
  • Experience designing and delivering ETL, data migration and integration solutions.
  • Ability to work hands-on whilst engaging confidently with stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience operating within complex technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
Desirable experience:
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning or data platform modernisation initiatives.
  • Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks or modern data platforms.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or large-scale system integrations.
  • Previous mentoring or leadership experience.
  • If you're looking for an opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, work on exciting transformation projects and play a key role in a growing technology function, we'd love to hear from you.
