Senior Buyer

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Buying, the Senior Buyer will play a key role in managing and developing supplier relationships while supporting a procurement function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing key supplier relationships
• Leading cost negotiations and driving commercial performance
• Taking ownership of product categories and spend areas
• Supporting sourcing strategies and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Working closely with merchandising and wider business teams

This role offers the opportunity to step into a more strategic position, taking ownership of supplier relationships, driving commercial value, and supporting ongoing business growth.

The Senior Buyer will need:

• Proven experience in a Buyer / Senior Buyer / Procurement role
• Experience of supplier relationship management and negotiations
• Exposure to end-to-end procurement processes
• The ability to operate both operationally and strategically
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
