The Opportunity:
School Business Manager
- Temporary | 37 hours per week
- Term Time + 10 Days
My client is seeking a dedicated School Business Manager to lead the operational functions of our successful and inclusive primary school. Working closely with the Headteacher, leadership team and wider Trust colleagues, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school, helping create the best possible environment for pupils, staff and families.

About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding leadership position with responsibility for key business functions including:
- Leading and developing school administration systems and processes
- Managing and supporting the administrative team
- Overseeing HR administration, recruitment and payroll processes
- Supporting compliance with GDPR, safeguarding and statutory requirements
- Coordinating Health & Safety, premises administration and service contracts
- Producing reports, returns and workforce data
- Supporting school events, projects and operational planning
- Working collaboratively across the Trust to improve services and efficiencies
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience within administration, business management, HR or operational leadership
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing priorities and meeting deadlines
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and management systems
- The ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
- A positive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
