We are working with an established organisation seeking a Sales Ledger Administrator to join their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales ledger, accounts receivable or credit control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
The Role
As the Sales Ledger Administrator you will be working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting cash collection activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing allocated customer accounts and ensuring payment terms are adhered to
- Allocating incoming cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
- Producing and processing invoices
- Resolving customer account queries and discrepancies
- Raising credit notes and maintaining accurate customer records
- Supporting cash forecasting and aged debt reporting
- Processing pricing updates and customer deductions
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve account issues
- Providing support across the wider finance team as required
About You
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Previous experience within Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar finance role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
