Sales Ledger Administrator - Hybrid Working 

Are you looking for a finance role within a growing business where you can take ownership of customer accounts, build strong stakeholder relationships and develop your experience within a supportive finance team?

We are working with an established organisation seeking a Sales Ledger Administrator to join their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales ledger, accounts receivable or credit control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

The Role

As the Sales Ledger Administrator you will be working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting cash collection activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing allocated customer accounts and ensuring payment terms are adhered to
  • Allocating incoming cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
  • Producing and processing invoices
  • Resolving customer account queries and discrepancies
  • Raising credit notes and maintaining accurate customer records
  • Supporting cash forecasting and aged debt reporting
  • Processing pricing updates and customer deductions
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve account issues
  • Providing support across the wider finance team as required

About You

We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:

  • Previous experience within Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar finance role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
