As part of their continued growth strategy, they are looking to appoint a Southern Area Sales Manager to strengthen relationships and drive project specification activity across the region. Regular travel to the North for meetings at HQ.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Southern Area Sales Manager will take responsibility for developing and growing business opportunities across a defined territory.
This is a consultative specification sales role focused on engaging with architects, interior designers, dealers, contractors and other key stakeholders involved in commercial interior projects. From initial concept discussions through to project completion, you will identify opportunities, build specifications and convert projects into profitable sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing specification opportunities with architects, designers and specifiers.
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships across the commercial interiors sector.
- Managing projects from enquiry through to quotation, specification and completion.
- Providing product and application advice to customers.
- Representing the business at customer meetings, industry events and networking activities.
- Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Forecasting opportunities and reporting progress against targets.

- Self-motivated, organised and able to work autonomously.
- Professional, credible and confident communicator.
