This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a growing international quality function, helping to shape supplier quality standards and drive continuous improvement across a diverse product portfolio throughout the EMEA region.

The role

As Quality Lead, you will take ownership of supplier quality and product assurance activities, ensuring products consistently meet regulatory, customer and internal quality requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the supplier quality programme.
  • Managing supplier approvals, risk assessments, audit preparation and follow-up activities.
  • Conducting and coordinating supplier and manufacturing partner audits.
  • Overseeing First Article Inspection activities across global sourcing regions.
  • Managing QA/QC processes and product inspection activities.
  • Leading and developing a local quality control team.
  • Driving root cause analysis, CAPA implementation and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Supporting customer complaint investigations, product returns and quality trend analysis.
  • Monitoring supplier performance through metrics, reporting and accountability frameworks.
  • Partnering closely with R&D, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs and Operations teams to support product development and launch activities.

The candidate

We are seeking an experienced quality professional with a strong background in food or another regulated FMCG environment.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, Food Safety or Auditing.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and recognised standards such as GFSI, BRC etc
  • Expertise in HACCP, QA/QC processes, supplier qualification and risk assessment.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and managing quality performance across international supply networks.
  • A proven track record in CAPA, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching or developing quality teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Confidence working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
  • A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
