Quality Auditor

Our Client:

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, food safety and continuous improvement. Due to increased demand they are looking to appoint a Quality Auditor on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The role will support the ongoing delivery of food safety, quality and compliance standards across the site.

The Role:

This is a hands-on quality position supporting the day-to-day operation of the site's quality management systems. You'll be involved in internal auditing, food safety and compliance activities, supporting investigations, monitoring standards on the factory floor and helping to drive a strong quality culture across the business. The role will also support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with BRCGS and customer requirements.

Key areas include:

• Carrying out internal audits and compliance checks
• Supporting food safety and quality investigations
• Monitoring GMP and quality standards on site
• Assisting with non-conformance and corrective action activities
• Supporting BRCGS compliance and audit readiness
• Working closely with production and operational teams to drive standards across the business

About You:

I'm keen to speak with candidates from Quality Auditor, Quality Assurance, Quality Technician or Quality Control backgrounds within food manufacturing.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS standards and food safety requirements
• Internal auditing experience
• HACCP and Food Hygiene knowledge
• A proactive approach and confidence working closely with operational teams
• Good communication skills and a passion for maintaining high quality standards
