Procurement Officer

The Role
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across a mix of goods and services, building supplier relationships, negotiating agreements, and supporting business-wide procurement activity.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Manage sourcing and procurement activity across a range of indirect and subcontractor categories
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving performance and value
- Support contract negotiation and ensure commercially favourable terms
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure delivery against SLAs/KPIs
- Contribute to the ongoing development of procurement processes within a growing function

About You
We’re looking for a pragmatic, adaptable procurement professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
The successful Procurement Officer will have:
- 2–5 years’ experience in procurement or buying
- Experience across multiple categories, ideally in SME, manufacturing, or project-based environments
- Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
- A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence working with evolving processes and limited data
- Subcontractor or third-party supplier management experience is advantageous
