Procurement Business Partner
The Company
We’re partnering with a growing organisation within Professional Services undergoing a significant transformation programme, focused on embedding new ways of working enabled by AI, data and modern technology.
The organisation is evolving how it manages suppliers and third‑party risk as it continues to scale. This newly created Procurement Business Partner sits at the heart of that journey — keeping things moving, supporting the business day‑to‑day and ensuring the right controls are in place without creating unnecessary friction.
Our Client will support hybrid working to include 2-3 days per week in their Newcastle office.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Head of Procurement, the Procurement Business Partner will play a hands‑on role in the smooth running of procurement operations. You’ll support supplier onboarding, due diligence and contract management, acting as a first point of contact, while assisting colleagues to navigate processes confidently and efficiently.
This is a delivery‑focused role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail, collaborating cross functionally and making things work in practice rather than theory.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting supplier onboarding, due diligence and third‑party risk processes
- Managing day‑to‑day activity within the procurement system
- Partnering with teams across IT, Operations, Marketing and HR to support new supplier activity
- Supplier performance management and contract renewals
- Assisting with audits and reporting
About You
The successful Procurement Business Partner will have strong procurement or supplier management experience, ideally within a regulated or control‑heavy environment. You will have a background in indirect procurement - IT, Operations, Marketing and HR beneficial.
You’re organised, practical and comfortable working with evolving processes. You bring a calm, collaborative approach and understand the balance between governance and getting business done.
Why join?
- Exposure to a growing, evolving procurement function
- A culture that values proportionate, sensible controls
- Opportunity to learn, develop and shape how the role evolves over time
If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real contribution and grow within an emerging function, please get in contact.
