Procurement and Sampling Coordinator

The Role

As Procurement & Sampling Coordinator, you will take ownership of day-to-day purchasing and supplier coordination activities, ensuring products are sourced efficiently and delivered on time. Working closely with international suppliers, logistics providers, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders, you'll help maintain smooth supply chain operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Raise and manage purchase orders.
  • Process call-off orders and monitor supplier performance.
  • Coordinate imports and shipments from international suppliers.
  • Consolidate inbound shipments via air and sea freight.
  • Track delivery schedules and ensure accurate order administration.
  • Verify and reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders.
  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouse teams and internal stakeholders regarding product quality issues.
  • Manage supplier communications and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Support both regular weekly purchasing activity and larger monthly procurement cycles.

About You

I am keen to speak with individuals who have experience within procurement, purchasing, supply chain, sourcing, logistics or import/export coordination roles.
The successful candidate will be/ have:

  • Prior experience in a purchasing and materials focused role
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Excel capability.
  • Confident and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple suppliers and competing priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach.
