Planning Analyst
The Role
The Planning Analyst will be responsible for supporting warehouse resource planning, forecasting and performance reporting. You'll work closely with operational teams to provide insights that improve productivity, efficiency, service levels and cost control across the warehouse operation.
Day to day duties include:
- Develop and maintain warehouse resource plans aligned to forecasted volumes and operational demand.
- Monitor and report on plan versus actual performance, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
- Produce operational performance reports, dashboards and productivity analysis.
- Support warehouse management teams with accurate and actionable insight.
- Develop forecasting models to improve labour planning and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements.

About You
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing large datasets, identifying trends and influencing operational performance through data-driven recommendations. The successful Planning Analyst will be/ have:
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas and working with large datasets.
- Experience analysing and interpreting operational data.
- Strong planning, forecasting and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to translate data into meaningful business insight and recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across operational teams
