Part Time Accountant

The Job

An Accountant will be hired for a 6 month period initially.   This is a part time role 25-30  hours per week to work remotely. Candidates must be North East based and be able to attend occasional meetings in the local office.

Key Areas:

• Support the Finance Team lead with day to day accounting and financial administration
• Review invoices, prepare payments and complete reconciliations
• Liaise with stakeholders to track expenditure and project costs
• Support budget monitoring and budget v actual reporting
• Cashflow monitoring
• Liaise with external accountants
• Invoice review and payment reconciliation
• Budget monitoring and forecasting

About You

• You will likely be a Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered with relevant experience
• Have up to 10 years of experience in a mid level finance position
• Able to work independently
• Confident with managing payments and banking processes
• Able to build relationships with all stakeholders both finance and non finance
• Have confidentiality and discretion
