The Opportunity:

PA to Senior Leadership Team (Maternity Cover)

Leeds | 30 Hours per Week | Hybrid Working | 12-Month FTC

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Senior Administrator looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity in Leeds?

We are recruiting for a highly organised and proactive PA to provide comprehensive support to a senior leadership team within a respected education setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and purpose-driven organisation where you'll play a key role in supporting executive-level operations and governance activities. 

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas and papers, taking minutes, handling confidential correspondence, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a busy executive office. The role also involves supporting committee and board activity, coordinating key communications and helping to manage a wide range of administrative projects. 

The Opportunity

  • 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE)
  • Four-day working week, Monday to Thursday
  • Hybrid working, including one day working from home
  • Typical hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Fixed-term maternity cover contract for up to 12 months
  • Leeds-based
  • Ideal start date: 19th October

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive diary and inbox management
  • Organising meetings, events and travel arrangements
  • Preparing agendas, reports and presentation materials
  • Taking accurate minutes and managing action logs
  • Coordinating board and committee papers
  • Supporting senior leadership with projects and deadlines
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining confidential records and documentation systems
  • Supporting governance and compliance activities

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a PA, EA, Secretary or Senior Administrative role
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong minute-taking and document preparation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
  • Absolute discretion when handling confidential information

Salary & Benefits

  •  £31,400 full-time equivalent salary
