With a strong focus on improving performance, introducing smarter ways of working and delivering sustainable change, the business offers an environment where engineering ideas are supported and given the opportunity to make a visible impact.

The opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of meaningful improvement projects within a busy, high-volume operation.
Working closely with engineering, production and other key stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, efficiency and reliability. You will turn those opportunities into practical, measurable solutions, supporting projects from initial investigation through to implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to capital investment projects from concept through to delivery
  • Developing business cases, project plans and technical specifications
  • Working with internal teams and external suppliers to implement improvements
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, effectively and with minimal operational disruption
  • Measuring results and embedding improvements into day-to-day operations
This is a hands-on role offering genuine scope to influence how the operation develops.

About you

You will be a practical, improvement-focused engineer who can combine technical knowledge with the ability to deliver change in a live operational environment.
You are likely to bring:

  • Experience in manufacturing, process, production or industrial engineering
  • A track record of delivering measurable process or productivity improvements
  • Experience supporting equipment installations, automation or capital projects
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • The ability to take projects from initial idea through to implementation
  • Confidence working across engineering, production and supplier teams
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, delivery-focused approach
  • A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience
If you are looking for a role where you can take ownership, introduce better ways of working and see the direct results of your contribution, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
