The Opportunity
Management Accountant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a well-established business and play a key role within a growing finance function.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting cashflow management, and helping to drive continuous improvement across finance processes and controls. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across the finance function and the opportunity to act as a valued business partner to stakeholders across the organisation.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial KPI reporting
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and management information
- Complete balance sheet and control account reconciliations
- Support cashflow management and forecasting
- Maintain and improve financial controls, policies and procedures
- Assist with financial reporting submissions and compliance requirements
- Support and collaborate with the wider finance team
- Drive process improvements across systems and reporting
- Deputise for the Financial Controller when required
The Person
About You
- AAT Qualified or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Previous experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proactive, organised and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a positive, can-do attitude
