Following significant growth in its home market, the business is now investing in international expansion and is looking for its first Europe-based commercial hire to help lead that journey.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Co-CEO, you will take ownership of developing and growing DSS Games' international business across Europe and other high-potential global markets.
You'll be responsible for identifying new distributor and publishing partners, negotiating commercial agreements, building market-entry strategies and growing long-term revenue through strategic partnerships. This is a true build role with significant autonomy, visibility and influence.
Key Responsibilities & Candidate Background
- Identify, secure and develop distributor and publishing partnerships across Europe and other international territories.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and partnership agreements from initial contact through to launch.
- Manage and grow existing distributor and agency relationships.
- Represent DSS Games at leading international trade events and industry exhibitions.
- Develop territory growth plans, forecasts and commercial strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support product launches, localisation projects and go-to-market activity.
- Monitor international market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Provide strategic insight and recommendations to the leadership team.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience in international sales, distributor management or licensing/publishing partnerships.
- A background within games, toys or related consumer products.
- A track record of signing and developing distributor or publisher partnerships.
- Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Experience operating autonomously within an international environment.
- The ability to manage multiple territories, stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
- UK or European based with the flexibility to travel internationally.
- Additional Advantages
- Existing relationships with games distributors or publishers.
- Experience with localisation, licensing or international market launches.
- Attendance at major trade fairs such as Spielwarenmesse, Essen SPIEL or London Toy Fair.
- Additional European language skills.
