Interim Accountant

We're supporting a well established manufacturing business based in Oldham that is looking to appoint an experienced interim accountant to support the finance team during a busy period of change.
Key Responsibilities
This is a hands on role focused on delivering a high quality month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and maintaining strong financial controls. The business has recently implemented a new ERP system, so there is also an opportunity to support process improvement, resolve teething issues and help embed new ways of working.
We're looking for a dependable, detail oriented accountant who enjoys getting into the numbers, ensuring the balance sheet stands up to scrutiny, and helping create a robust finance function.
Key responsibilities:
• Month end close and management accounts support
• Detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Supporting the recent ERP/system implementation
• Process improvements and strengthening controls
• Ad hoc finance project work as required
Ideal for a technically strong accountant who can quickly add value in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
