The company

An established and highly respected manufacturing organisation is seeking a Hygiene & Site Services Manager to lead a business-critical function during an exciting period of operational development and succession planning.

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced people manager who can build capability, create accountability and drive continuous improvement across a large operational environment.

Working as part of the site leadership team, you will provide direction and support to specialist teams responsible for hygiene, environmental and site-service activities. Your focus will be on maintaining exceptional standards, developing team performance, improving operational effectiveness and ensuring the function continues to support wider business objectives.

The role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a multi-disciplined team
  • Driving a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies and procedures
  • Managing operational performance through KPI measurement and review
  • Supporting site-wide improvement initiatives and business priorities
  • Partnering effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Building organisational capability through coaching, development and succession planning

The candidate

We're looking for a credible leader who can bring structure, clarity and direction whilst developing a highly engaged team.

You could come from a variety of operationally focused environments where standards, compliance and performance are critical. Experience leading teams, improving performance and managing specialist resources will be essential.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys influencing across functions, developing people and making a visible impact within a large and complex operation.
