The Opportunity:
HR Officer (6-Month Contract)
- Cumbria (Onsite)
- Circa £30,000 (pro rata)
The Role:
Supporting a wider HR function, you will provide day-to-day generalist HR support, ensuring a high-quality and responsive service to managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including starters, leavers, and changes
- Providing advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Assisting with low-level employee relations casework (e.g. absence, conduct, and performance)
- Maintaining accurate HR records and systems
- Supporting wider HR projects and administrative activity as required
About You:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role
- Confident managing recruitment and onboarding processes
- Comfortable supporting low-level ER cases
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
- Proactive, team-focused and able to work onsite in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
