The opportunity;

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a global manufacturing organisation in Oxfordshire as they look to strengthen their leadership team with a new strategic hire.

The role;

This is a senior, visible appointment for an accomplished HR leader who combines commercial judgement with the confidence to work closely alongside operational leadership. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will strengthen local HR capability and create a more strategic, proactive and self-sufficient people function.

You will:

Partner with the Site Leader on all people related matters, providing clear, pragmatic advice and constructive challenge
Lead the full people agenda, including employee relations, talent, recruitment, workforce planning and organisational development
Translate operational priorities into effective people plans
Navigate complex employee relations matters
Build productive relationships across local and international stakeholder groups
Balance longer-term organisational priorities with the demands of a hands-on operational role
Provide visible, credible leadership across the site
Lead a small team to the next phase of their personal development

Based on site in Oxfordshire

What we’re looking for;

We are looking for a commercially minded HR professional with senior site-level experience in a complex operational manufacturing environment (essential).
You will bring broad HR expertise, strong employee relations capability and a record of influencing senior stakeholders within a large organisation.
Your approach will be proactive, assured and practical.
You will be comfortable taking ownership, making sound judgements and operating with discretion.
