GRC Specialist

The Role

Our client is seeking an urgent requirement to join their Governance, Risk and Cyber team.  This role will be initially a FTC with a strong likelihood of going permanent.  The role requires you to be onsite in the office 4 days a week in Teesside. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide additional capacity and expertise within the Governance, Risk and Cyber team.
• Ensure continuity across governance, cyber risk and compliance activities during the transition period.
• Governance, Risk, Compliance and Cyber responsibilities sit within the same functional area.
• The organisation utilises multiple specialist third-party suppliers for security operations and cyber services. Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities are outsourced.
• The successful individual will act as the internal coordinator and owner of supplier relationships, ensuring security services and platforms operate effectively
• The role will support cyber governance, risk management, incident coordination and compliance activities rather than deep technical cyber engineering.
