The Opportunity

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Services Manager to join its finance leadership team during an exciting period of transformation and growth.

This newly created position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a sizeable transactional finance operation, leading multiple teams while driving improvements across processes, systems and service delivery.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in supporting organisational change, developing team capability and embedding best practice across core finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop several transactional finance teams through a period of change
Coach, mentor and support a team of supervisors and finance professionals
Drive process improvement and operational efficiencies
Support finance systems enhancements and wider transformation initiatives
Ensure robust financial controls, governance and service standards are maintained
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business

This is an office based role, with on site parking in Newcastle City Centre.

About You

Experience leading finance operations, shared services or transactional finance teams
