Financial Accountant

North East England Temporary 270.00 per day Ref: 418837

A Financial Accountant will be hired to provide project support for a 6-8 week period. On site presence required.

A few key areas:

Review & reconcile balance sheet accounts following a ERP implementation and currency conversion.
Investigate discrepancies across journals, sub-ledgers and financial transactions.
Analyse foreign exchange and revaluation issues, including historic versus closing exchange rate treatment
Work closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to deliver a focused project outcome within a defined timescale

A dynamic and global organisation

Fully Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience
Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly around currency conversion, revaluation and balance sheet interpretation
Experience reviewing foreign currency transactions and exchange rate impacts
Advanced Excel skills
Strong ERP systems experience, Oracle experience is nice to have
Have an investigative, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
