Finance & Operations Business Partner
Company
This is an opportunity to take on a highly visible role at the heart of an ambitious international business. Combining commercial finance, operational oversight and business partnering, you will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen decision making, improve performance and support the next stage of growth
Key Responsibilities
The company is creating a more independent and scalable international operation following a period of strong progress. With significant organisational and operational change underway, it now requires greater financial insight, commercial challenge and management information to support its ambitions. You will join a changing, entrepreneurial environment where you can influence how the business develops rather than simply inherit an established way of working.
Acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will:
- Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning.
- Prepare and interpret P&L performance, translating financial information into practical business actions.
- Provide commercial insight and constructive challenge on investment and strategic decisions.
- Monitor operational KPIs alongside financial performance.
- Oversee key third party operational relationships, costs, margins and service levels.
- Support performance improvement across finance and operations.
- Work with central finance colleagues and external advisers on reporting and consolidation requirements.
- Contribute to leadership meetings and help develop stronger board level reporting.
- Build the financial and operational foundations required to support future growth
Key Skills preferred
You may be newly qualified or in the early stages of your post qualified career, with experience in commercial finance, finance business partnering or operational finance.
You will offer:
- A recognised accountancy qualification, or be approaching qualification.
- The ability to turn numbers into clear commercial recommendations.
- Experience working closely with operational stakeholders.
- Confidence influencing and constructively challenging senior colleagues.
- Exposure to operational KPIs, cost control, margins or service performance.
- A hands on, pragmatic and proactive approach.
- The curiosity and resilience to succeed in a growing, changing environment.
- Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
If you are looking for a broader commercial role where you can influence both financial and operational performance, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
