The Opportunity

Nigel Wright are supporting a respected organisation in Teesside to recruit a Finance Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in providing financial insight, supporting strategic planning, and building strong relationships across the business.

This position is ideal for a forward-thinking finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, translating financial data into meaningful recommendations, and driving improvements that make a real difference to services and communities. The Role

  • Partner with budget holders and senior managers to support financial planning and decision-making
  • Provide robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
  • Prepare and present management information to a range of stakeholders
  • Support the annual budget setting process and medium-term financial planning
  • Challenge and influence stakeholders to improve financial outcomes
  • Contribute to service improvement and value-for-money initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practice

The Person

  • Experience in a finance business partnering, management accounting, or similar finance role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • The ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful insights
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work
  • Part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience finance professionals will be considered
