Data Analyst

The Company

NW Tech is delighted to be partnering with a tech business in their search for a Data Analyst. You will own and improve reporting and dashboarding, support various business units and work with senior stakeholders to help the organisation become more data orientated. 

The Role

This is an exciting, fast paced and business facing role. You'll work closely with stakeholders and the Senior Data Engineer to ensure the datasets behind reporting are trusted, well understood and fit for purpose. Key responsibilities include: 

• Build, maintain and improve dashboards in Omni
• Ensure reporting is accurate, well documented and based on consistent definitions 
• Support pricing, promotional, forecasting and other ad-hoc commercial analysis where required 
• Identify and investigate data quality issues, gaps and discrepancies
• Work with the Senior Data Engineer to shape trusted datasets and data models for reporting and analysis. 

The Requirements

Key requirements include: 

• Commercial experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence or similar analytics role. 
• Strong SQL skills and ideally understanding of modern data warehouses and ETL concepts. 
• Ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight 
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with non technical stakeholders 
• Experience analysing marketing, ecommerce, subscription or customer data would be desirable but not critical.
