Commercial Manager

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing, highly agile e-commerce-led business in a pivotal Commercial Manager role. Sitting at the heart of the commercial function, this position plays a key role in driving trading performance across channel, brand and SKU level, supporting the delivery of profitable revenue growth.

This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced environment, offering excellent exposure across the business and the opportunity to contribute directly to commercial decision-making.

Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for translating commercial strategy into effective day-to-day execution, ensuring revenue growth is delivered profitably and in line with margin targets.

Working within a lean and collaborative structure, you will drive trading performance across channel, brand and SKU level, taking ownership of pricing, promotions, forecasting and performance analysis.
You will play a key role in reviewing and optimising trading activity, identifying risks and opportunities, and embedding a strong commercial cadence across the business. The role blends data-led insight with hands-on execution, working cross-functionally to align decisions around pricing, stock and promotions.

With the support of a dedicated Data Analyst providing reporting and dashboards, your focus will be on interpreting data and translating insight into clear commercial actions that drive revenue and margin performance.

About you:

  • Background in FMCG, retail or e-commerce environments
  • Experience operating in a multi-SKU environment is essential
  • Strong exposure to trading, pricing, promotions and margin analysis
  • Highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets and drawing insight
  • Advanced Excel skills (experience with BI tools advantageous)
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance analysis and execution
  • Strong communicator, able to influence cross-functional stakeholders

Candidates from high-SKU retail environments (e.g. specialist retail or consumer-led businesses) will be particularly well aligned.
This role is ideally suited to a high-potential individual looking to step into a broader commercial role with genuine opportunity for development.
