Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be partnering with Coleg y Cymoedd to recruit a Head of Estates.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Wales' leading further education colleges and lead a diverse multi-campus estate.
Reporting to the Vice Principal: Corporate Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across four campuses, ensuring a safe, compliant and sustainable environment for learners, staff and visitors.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the estate through improved asset management, maintenance planning, compliance, sustainability and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the estates and facilities function across four campuses.
- Develop and deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes.
- Oversee reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
- Manage health & safety, security, CCTV and access control.
- Lead contractor, consultant and supplier relationships.
- Develop asset management and lifecycle replacement plans.
- Improve estate reporting, CAFM systems and data management.
- Manage budgets and support procurement activity.
- Lead, develop and motivate the estates team.
- Support sustainability and environmental initiatives.
The Person
You will bring:
- Multi-site estates management experience.
- Strong PPM and reactive maintenance knowledge.
- Asset management and lifecycle planning expertise.
- Budget, contract and supplier management experience.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
- CAFM system experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- A track record of driving change and continuous improvement.
