The Opportunity

A leading regional accountancy firm is seeking a Part-Qualified Audit Senior to join its growing audit team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a varied client portfolio while developing your technical expertise and leadership skills within a modern, forward-thinking practice.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with experienced senior stakeholders. You’ll also support and mentor junior team members, playing a key part in delivering high-quality audit engagements and an excellent client experience.
This position offers strong progression potential, exposure to a diverse client base, and the opportunity to work within a firm that embraces technology and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver statutory audits from planning through to completion
  • Work both independently and as part of on-site audit teams
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing relationships and queries
  • Review and support the work of junior team members, providing coaching and feedback
  • Collaborate with managers and senior leadership to ensure quality delivery
  • Utilise digital audit tools to improve efficiency and insight
  • Contribute to process improvements and team development initiatives
  • Travel to client sites across the region as required

What we're looking for

  • Part-qualified ACA or ACCA with at least 2+ years’ audit experience
  • Confident in leading or delivering audits
  • Experience working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with audit software
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Willingness to travel to client sites
