Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a varied role within a busy and fast-paced construction environment?
We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a well-established construction business in Middlesbrough on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the central point of support within an office and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
Working closely with site teams, suppliers and senior management, you will provide comprehensive administrative and office support across a range of business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider business.
- Managing company vehicle records, servicing schedules, MOTs, insurance documentation and vehicle compliance.
- Processing invoices and supporting the purchase ledger function.
- Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and service providers.
- Monitoring and managing office supplies and equipment.
- Coordinating deliveries and supplier enquiries.
- Maintaining accurate databases, spreadsheets and filing systems.
- Assisting with document control and project administration.
- Supporting health and safety administration and compliance documentation.
- Handling incoming calls, emails and correspondence professionally.
- Providing general office support to management and operational teams as required.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within an administration, office support or business support role.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience processing invoices and managing administrative records.
- Confidence dealing with suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- The ability to prioritise workloads within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting a busy team.
Previous experience within the construction, engineering or facilities sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
