Nigel Wright Group continues Northern growth with record start to new financial year
Nigel Wright Group, the northern executive search and specialist recruitment business, has hailed a record start to its new financial year as it continues to expand its presence across the North of England.
Since the beginning of May, the firm’s turnover for the northern regional business is up 13% when compared to the same period in 2025 across its Northern operations. The regional business has also achieved ten record months in the last eleven, with revenues over the last twelve months edging close to £10m for the first time.
This comes after another strong year for the Nigel Wright team in its last full financial year, where NFI increased to £8.8m, up 14% on the previous year. Its executive search function performed particularly well, with work almost doubling throughout the year.
With its roots in the North East, Nigel Wright Group has more recently expanded across the North, opening offices in Leeds and Manchester. Both offices have regularly hired experienced consultants to meet regional client demand, with growth across the two offices 46% higher than last financial year.
Nigel Wright Group recently expanded into the US, bringing its bespoke offering to one of the world’s largest recruitment markets. Launching in 2023, strong demand has already seen the business quadruple turnover over the last year. The wider European business is also growing successfully with turnover up 25% this financial year.
The continued growth of the business across the North reflects the need for the firm’s specialist capabilities across sectors, disciplines, and geographies. This has allowed Nigel Wright Group to create its proposition around building the leadership teams and identifying the specialist talent that Northern organisations need to achieve their ambitions.
