In April, Nigel Wright Group hosted a webinar on ‘The AI Evolution’, with guest speakers Martin Meller and Claus Nissum Holm. The event was attended by over 100 leaders from across Europe, representing different industry sectors. They gained valuable insight into navigating the challenges and opportunities of AI adoption from two experienced tech industry professionals. Meller and Holm also took part in an engaging Q&A, where they provided guests with further advice about incorporating AI into business strategies and operations.

Following Meller was Claus Nissum Holm, the Director of Creative Tech at digital consultancy, Klean Group, who showcased a practical and innovative approach to enhancing CRM systems with AI. With a focus on addressing challenges encountered by sales teams, Holm unveiled a transformative solution that simplifies CRM usage, as well as significantly improves productivity and efficiency.

Holm began by identifying a common issue faced by many salespeople – the underutilisation of CRM systems. Despite being integral to organisational operations, these systems often suffer from low adoption rates. This is due to their complexity and the tedious nature of manual data entry. A lack of comprehensive data can hamper decision-making processes and undermine the effectiveness of sales strategies.

Integrating AI for Personalised Support

To tackle this challenge head-on, Holm implemented AI into Klean Group’s CRM system. The AI assistant was designed to provide personalised suggestions to salespeople based on existing lead data. According to Holm, the CRM system now offers human-like advice. This helps guide Klean Group’s sales professionals through intricate sales processes and empowers them to make informed decisions.
