Accounting Manager
About the role:
Sivers Semiconductors (Nasdaq Stockholm: SIVE) is strengthening its accounting capabilities within the Wireless business unit to support continued growth and increasing complexity as a listed company.
This is a hands-on Accounting Manager role with full ownership of operational accounting in an international environment. You will lead a small team, manage end-to-end accounting across Sweden and the US, and ensure high-quality, compliant reporting.
The role is central to the ongoing finance transformation, with a clear mandate to create structure, improve processes, and drive accountability. You will combine line management, operational execution, and continuous improvement, while contributing to modernisation through automation and AI initiatives.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape a scalable accounting function in a growing technology company.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead and develop the accounting team, with full line management responsibility
- Own accounting operations and drive structure, quality, and accountability
- Lead the month-end close and ensure accurate reporting and strong balance sheet control
- Oversee cash management and liquidity across entities
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Take ownership of US entity accounting and coordinate with external advisors
- Standardise and improve processes across entities
- Drive efficiency and support automation and AI-driven initiatives
Ideal Experience and Competencies:
- 6–10+ years’ experience in accounting, audit, or finance
- Experience driving process improvements, automation or finance transformation initiatives
- Proven experience leading or coordinating accounting teams
- Strong hands-on expertise in month-end close and operational accounting
- Experience with Swedish statutory reporting and tax
- Exposure to international environments - ideally including US entities
- Experience from IFRS and/or listed environments is advantageous
- Experience with process improvement, automation, and digitalisation in finance
- Fluent English (written and spoken); Swedish is an advantage
