Brand Manager - Whole Beans
Help Grow One of Sweden’s Most Iconic Coffee Brands
JDE is one of the world’s leading coffee and tea companies, home to iconic brands including Gevalia, L’OR, Jacobs, Tassimo, Senseo and Espresso House Coffee. As we continue to strengthen our Nordic organisation, we are looking for a commercially driven and passionate Senior Brand Manager to take ownership of the Gevalia Whole Beans business from our Stockholm office.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of one of Sweden’s most recognised coffee brands within a category that plays a critical role in premiumisation, innovation and consumer recruitment. You will have the chance to influence strategy, lead growth initiatives and bring impactful marketing plans to life across multiple channels and touchpoints.
The Opportunity
As Brand Manager for Whole Beans, you will own one of the brand’s most strategically important segments. You will translate the broader Gevalia brand vision into clear category strategies, innovation pipelines and activation plans that strengthen competitiveness and accelerate growth. Working closely with local, Nordic and global stakeholders, you will help shape the future direction of the category while ensuring excellent commercial execution. You will play a central role in connecting consumer insights, commercial priorities and innovation opportunities to deliver sustainable growth across both retail and away-from-home channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Gevalia Whole Beans portfolio, driving market share, category value and brand performance across key channels.
- Translate the overall Gevalia brand strategy into targeted category plans, portfolio optimisation initiatives and innovation projects that support long-term business objectives.
- Lead innovation and product launch initiatives from concept to market in close collaboration with R&D, Global Marketing, Finance and Sales.
- Identify consumer, market and competitive trends, transforming insights into commercial opportunities and actionable growth plans.
- Develop and execute integrated communication and activation programmes that strengthen brand relevance and enhance the consumer experience.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners to ensure seamless delivery of marketing initiatives and category ambitions.
- Monitor business performance, evaluate results and continuously optimise plans to deliver sustainable growth and measurable commercial impact.
Build the Future from Stockholm
Based in Stockholm, you will be part of JDE’s Northern European omnichannel marketing organisation, collaborating with colleagues across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands. This international environment offers the opportunity to combine local brand ownership with broader strategic exposure across multiple markets.
Working with one of Sweden’s strongest consumer brands, you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact in an organisation that values initiative, entrepreneurship and collaboration. Whether through innovation, activation or strategic development, your work will help shape the future of the Gevalia brand and strengthen its position in the premium coffee category.
Who Are You?
You are a commercially minded marketer who combines strategic thinking with strong execution skills. You enjoy turning consumer and market insights into growth opportunities and thrive in collaborative environments where you can influence stakeholders and drive results.
You are likely to bring:
- A university degree and 7 years of marketing experience, ideally within FMCG or another consumer-driven category.
- Experience developing and launching successful innovations and driving category or segment growth.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate data, insights and trends into clear strategic priorities.
- Excellent analytical capabilities and confidence working with market, category and financial data.
- A proven ability to collaborate across functions and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive approach and a strong drive to deliver results.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English.
