As JDE continues to strengthen its Nordic organisation, we are looking for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to manage and develop selected key retail accounts in Sweden.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of important customer relationships and contribute directly to JDE’s continued growth. You will work close to the market, build strong partnerships with retailers, and help ensure that JDE’s brands continue to perform strongly in stores and across key sales channels.
The Opportunity
As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing the business with local key accounts, improving sales results, and strengthening JDE’s position in the Swedish retail market. You will report to the Local Sales Manager Retail and work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, finance, category and international account teams.
A key part of the role will be to translate commercial strategy into clear customer plans, ensuring strong execution, profitable growth and high-quality collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Depending on the local organisation, the role may also include responsibility for leading and developing direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at growing sales objectives and strengthening market share.
- Manage and develop selected key accounts, building long-term customer relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate annual customer negotiations and ensure strong preparation, execution and follow-up of key agreements.
- Develop and implement customer plans, including sales targets, promotions, pricing initiatives and in-store activities.
- Monitor customer budgets, forecasts and performance, ensuring maximum return on investments and corrective actions where needed.
- Work with marketing and shopper teams to ensure strong execution of customer activities and brand initiatives in store.
- Support the introduction of new products and services to customers, including planning customer visits and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with finance, logistics, marketing, international sales and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth customer delivery.
- Coordinate with international teams and contribute to annual planning, local market input and presentations at relevant international meetings.
- Continuously follow market trends, competitor activities and customer development to identify opportunities for profitable growth.

Who are you?
You are a commercially minded Key Account Manager with a strong understanding of retail sales and customer development. You know how to build trust with customers, translate strategy into action, and deliver results through structured planning and high-quality execution.
You are likely to bring:
- A relevant university degree.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ sales experience, ideally as a Regional Account or Key Account profile, we are also open to more senior profiles.
- Strong understanding of retailers, retail dynamics and customer development.
- Experience from FMCG or another fast-paced consumer environment.
- Knowledge of market data and insights tools such as Nielsen and/or TNS.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and strong analytical skills.
- Good Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across functions and within an international organisation.
Personally, you are structured, proactive and accountable. You simplify complexity, communicate clearly and take ownership of your business. You combine an entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution skills and enjoy working close to customers, colleagues and the market.
