Drive Financial Performance Across Two Key Nordic Markets
JDE Peet's is the world's leading pure-play coffee and tea company, home to iconic brands including Gevalia, L'OR, Jacobs, Tassimo, Senseo and Espresso House Coffee. As JDE continues to strengthen its Nordic organisation, we are looking for a commercially minded and business-oriented Finance Manager Sweden & Finland to support two strategically important markets from our Stockholm office.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a highly visible finance leadership role, partnering closely with the Swedish and Finnish leadership teams while contributing to the future growth and performance of one of the world's most recognised coffee companies. Combining strategic insight with financial stewardship, you will play a critical role in driving profitable growth, supporting key business decisions and helping shape the financial agenda across the Nordic business.
The Opportunity
As Finance Manager Sweden & Finland, you will act as the financial leader and trusted business partner for two important Nordic markets within JDE Peet's Northern Europe organisation. Reporting to the Finance Director Northern Europe, you will be a key member of both the Northern Europe finance leadership team and the Sweden & Finland leadership teams.
You will work across a complex multi-country, multi-entity and multi-channel environment, supporting Sweden and Finland across Retail, Jobmeal and Away From Home channels. Through strong business partnering, commercial insight and financial leadership, you will help accelerate business performance while ensuring robust governance and financial control.
The role offers broad exposure across the organisation, significant interaction with senior stakeholders and a unique opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across two markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead Finance Business Partner to the Sweden & Finland leadership teams.
- Own financial performance, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning across both markets.
- Drive profitable growth through commercial insight, performance management and financial challenge.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing and Category teams across Retail, Jobmeal and Away From Home channels.
- Provide clear visibility on risks, opportunities and key business drivers to support business decisions.
- Lead business case evaluations, pricing decisions and investment prioritisation initiatives.
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance across multiple legal entities.
- Drive simplification, standardisation and automation initiatives across the finance organisation.
- Build strong relationships with Northern Europe leadership, Global Functions and Shared Services teams.
- Support the development of future finance capabilities and contribute to the continued evolution of the Northern Europe finance organisation.
Build the Future from Stockholm
As part of JDE Peet's ongoing organisational development, Stockholm is becoming home to an increasing number of key leadership and commercial functions within the Nordic organisation. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the centre of that development, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Sweden, Finland and the wider Northern Europe business.
For candidates who enjoy combining commercial influence with financial leadership, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on business performance while helping shape the future direction of JDE Peet's Nordic organisation.
Who are you?
You are a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with an ability to influence business decisions and build trusted relationships across an organisation. You enjoy operating close to the business, translating financial insights into clear actions and helping stakeholders drive sustainable growth.
You are likely to bring:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Experience within Commercial Finance, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering or a similar finance leadership role.
- A proven track record of supporting business performance within an international FMCG or consumer-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, P&L management and value creation.
- Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to operate effectively in a complex multi-country and multi-channel environment.
Personally, you are a collaborative and proactive team player who combines a strong sense of ownership with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset. You are comfortable challenging constructively, building credibility through insight and helping others make better decisions through data-driven recommendations. At the same time, you embrace change, seek opportunities for continuous improvement and enjoy working across functions, cultures and geographies.
