Help Shape the Future of the Coffee Category in Sweden

JDE is one of the world's leading coffee and tea companies, home to iconic brands including Gevalia, L'OR, Jacobs, Tassimo, Senseo and Espresso House Coffee. As JDE continues to strengthen its Nordic organisation, we are looking for a commercially driven Customer Shopper Manager Sweden to join the Customer & Shopper team and help shape the future of the Swedish coffee category.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious category management professional who enjoys combining data-driven insights with strong customer relationships. You will play a key role in driving category growth, influencing retail decision-making, and helping both JDE and its customers win in an increasingly competitive market. Based in Stockholm, you will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing and Field Sales while partnering with some of Sweden's leading grocery retailers.

The Opportunity

As Customer Shopper Manager Sweden, you will be responsible for developing and delivering category and shopper strategies that create sustainable growth for both JDE and its retail partners. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, you will translate market insights, shopper understanding and category strategy into actionable recommendations that strengthen category performance.

You will be part of JDE's Swedish Customer & Shopper team, a central function within the organisation that works cross-functionally to ensure category leadership, commercial excellence and successful execution across the market. The role offers a unique combination of analytical depth, strategic influence and customer-facing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate category and brand strategies into customer-specific growth plans and commercial recommendations that drive long-term category performance.
  • Generate, analyse and present market, shopper and category insights that support strategic decision-making for both JDE and key retail partners.
  • Act as a trusted category advisor to customers, providing recommendations related to assortment, promotions, shelving, distribution and in-store activation.
  • Lead customer-specific category projects from insight generation through implementation, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives and budgets.
  • Support the successful launch of new products by adapting launch strategies to customer needs and presenting compelling category cases to retailers.
  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers, Marketing and Field Sales to ensure category strategies are translated into strong commercial execution in-store.
  • Contribute to strengthening JDE's position as a category leader within coffee while supporting continued growth across the Swedish retail market.

Build the Future from Stockholm

As part of JDE's Nordic organisation, Stockholm continues to play an important role in driving growth and category development across the Swedish market. This position offers the opportunity to work with some of the most recognised brands in the category while collaborating with experienced colleagues across the Nordic region.

For candidates who are motivated by influencing customer strategies, shaping shopper experiences and delivering measurable category growth, this is an opportunity to make a real impact in one of Sweden's most important FMCG categories.

Who Are You?

You are commercially minded, analytical and relationship oriented. You enjoy turning complex data into clear recommendations and are comfortable influencing both internal stakeholders and external customers. Equally importantly, you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working cross-functionally to achieve common goals.

You are likely to bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience within Category management, Category development, Shopper Marketing or related commercial FMCG functions.
  • Strong understanding of the Swedish grocery retail landscape and how category growth is created.
  • Experience working with market and shopper data, ideally including NielsenIQ, YouGov/GfK or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities combined with the ability to communicate recommendations in a clear and compelling way.
  • Experience developing customer-specific category plans, insights or commercial recommendations.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, experience with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English.

Personally, you are proactive, structured and curious. You build credibility through strong preparation and insight-led recommendations, while your collaborative approach enables you to build trusted relationships across customers and internal teams alike. You combine commercial thinking with analytical rigour and are motivated by creating measurable results.
